What a finished job looks like / Menu page with a QR code
A menu on a page, and a QR code for the counter
This is what item 3 on my price list looks like when it's done. The takeaway is invented, so nobody's real menu is on show. When it's your job, it's your items, your prices and your allergen notes.
Demo Grill House (invented)
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 12:00 to 22:00. Closed Monday. These hours are invented.
Demo: these two buttons go nowhere. On a real page they call you and open a chat with you.
Allergy or intolerance? Please tell us before you order and ask about anything not marked.
What I did
- Your menu as text, not a PDF. It loads quickly on a phone and people can read it without pinching and zooming.
- Every price is the price you gave me. I send it back to you to check before it goes live.
- Allergen tags where you marked them. I only tag what you tell me. The tags on this page are invented for the demo.
- Your hours, a call button and a WhatsApp button at the top, where a hungry customer looks first.
- A QR code for the counter and the window, below.
Allergen information has to be right. On a real job you check every tag before I publish, and I never guess.
Not included
Online ordering (that's a separate job on my list), photography, and more than one page.
The printable QR sheet
One sheet for the counter and one for the window. Use your browser's Print option and it prints on its own, without the rest of this page.
Our menu, on your phone
Point your phone's camera at the code.

Your acceptance checklist
This comes with every job. You go through it on your own phone. Anything that doesn't pass, I put right; one round of corrections is free within 14 days.
- The page loads on a phone over mobile data in under three seconds.
- Every item and price matches the list you gave, and you have checked it.
- Allergen tags appear where you marked them.
- The QR code, printed, opens the page on two different phones.
- Tapping the phone number calls you; tapping WhatsApp opens a chat with you.
This is a demo, so there is nothing to tick here. It is the list your real job would be checked against.
